We are average Australians who care about a sustainable future and the transition to a Circular Economy.  This blog documents our journey of learning, understanding and implementing sustainable and circular practices in every day life.

We have noticed that much of the literature and documentation relating to a Circular Economy is focused on Business, and rightly so.  Businesses are the big lever who can make a significant impact.  But average people can make an impact too, 6 Billion hands make light work.  We hope to cut through the noise and help you understand the simple steps you can take to support the transition to a Circular Economy.  We hope to help you be part of the solution.  We hope to give you the skills to be part of The Circular Generation.

We’re still in the early days of site construction, but thanks for your enthusiasm. If you want to follow our progress, register your email below and we will keep you updated.

Simple examples of implementing circular practice

What is a Circular Economy?

A circular economy is a resilient system that is good for business, people and the environment.

In our current economy, we take materials from the Earth, make products from them, and eventually throw them away as waste – the process is linear. A Circular Economy is based on the principles of Eliminating waste and pollution, Circulating products and materials, and Regenerating nature.  A Circular Economy is underpinned by a transition to renewable energy and materials.

We will be publishing blog posts as we digest the concepts and simplify how every day people can support the transition to a Circular Economy.  If you want to read more while you wait, check out this introduction from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation
